Once you’ve started playing CastleVille, you’ll learn pretty quickly that there are two basic types of currency in the game. The first is coins, which you earn from performing many actions in the game, such as tending to your crops, feeding your animals, or collecting taxes from the houses and other buildings in your Kingdom. But there’s a second currency in the game known as crowns, and these are a lot harder to come by.
You’ll start out the game with a few crowns and from there, you only have two ways to earn them: by leveling up or purchasing them with real cash. A lot of people are always on the lookout for CastleVille crowns cheats, but there simply aren’t any. Selling crowns is how Zynga (the maker of CastleVille) earns its money, and there are no shortcuts to getting them.
Although you do earn one crown each time you get a new level in the game, the primary way to obtain lots of crowns is through purchasing them. To do so, click on the Add Coins and Crowns link at the top of the page and you’ll get a pop-up showing the different packages of crowns that you can purchase. They range from 15 to 1,000 for a price between $2 and $100. The larger a package you purchase, the better of a deal you will get. You can buy your crowns with Facebook credits, a credit card, Paypal, or even your mobile phone.
So what can you buy with Crowns? Mostly, they’re used for purchasing Energy potions, special decorations and exclusive buildings. You can also use crowns to unlock access to items earlier than you would normally get. For example, the Observatory is a highly desirable Royal Building that normally becomes available at level 34. But you can unlock it early by paying 52 crowns.
Adding Crowns is easy, but costs real money in CastleVille.
